Mission Statement for
Cruz Roja Chapala Volunteers:
"To seek all
possible opportunities for fundraising to support the endeavors
of the Cruz Roja Chapala"
Become a CRIVC (Cruz Roja International Volunteers Chapala) Volunteer! We meet once each month, on the first Wednesday
of the month. Meetings are currently being held in the
Lake Chapala Society Gazebo at 2 PM. As meetings
generally start on time, try to allow plenty of time to park...
And if you think that you don't have time to
attend the meetings or to participate as an active volunteer, you can help Cruz Roja
Chapala by:
-- Hosting a benefit community event begins with caring individuals, a group or service club... see our new Community Partners Program!
-- Attending local functions and activities that are
organized and hosted by the Cruz Roja Volunteers, such as the chartered bus shopping trips.
These fundraisers are always fun and reasonably priced...and the money goes to a worthy cause. If you can't
attend an event, think about buying a ticket or two as
a gift for a friend!
-- Purchasing fundraising
items. These items vary from time
to time. They are always useful and/or handy--and
are a good source for Christmas, birthday,
and thank-you gifts. These items
are available for purchase at the Cruz Roja table at LCS from 10 to Noon.
-- Inquiring about
what items are needed (Cruz Roja Chapala "Wish List")
and perhaps contributing an item or two .... or donating a little
money toward the purchase. Contact Norm Pifer or Charlie Klestadt for more details. See In-Kind Giving for more ideas!

Print it, fill it out, and, together with a small photo, take it to the next regular monthly meeting of the Cruz Roja Volunteers, or give it to Norm Pifer, Charlie Klestadt or one of the other Cruz Roja officers. (The infantil-size photo can be made at Guadalajara Pharmacy in just a few minutes for approximately 25 pesos).
